Addressing Food Insecurity
We identify and select peasant farmers, forming them into self-help groups for comprehensive agricultural training. Our program addresses the root causes of food insecurity: lack of knowledge and skills in improved crop and animal management practices, and poor storage facilities.
Many households experience food insecurity because they lack proper agricultural knowledge, leading them to buy food throughout the year. Our intervention changes this cycle by boosting production for sustainable food security and income.

Impact in Kumi District
Our intervention in Kumi District demonstrates the transformative power of agricultural training and support. Farmers who participated in our program have reported significant improvements in crop yields, better food security for their families, and increased household income through sale of surplus produce.
"Since the organization started, about 4,000 farmers have been trained in improved crop and animal management practices, and about 2,000 have been supported with farm inputs, seeds, and stem cuttings to boost production and ensure sustainability."
